The Red Point Café Yamaha is the first in a series of similar spots that the Japanese brand has opened or is planning on opening in the cities where their offices are located. The choice to use SHERAZADE light fixtures for the general lighting comes from the strong stylistic identity of the system, which was already used in the offices of the new Yamaha headquarters in Lesmo, near Milan, and used here in the two standard white and black versions. Of course, the resemblance to a motorbike circuit played an important role which the modules, if suitably combined, are capable of adopting.
A real “luminous” path was created for the Red Point Café of Rozzano, which runs around the large red point above the bar-counter. A strongly contrasting light, coming from the use of pre-focalised halogen light bulbs with alternating narrow and medium beams, contributes to creating the right mood for a trendy setting in keeping with the values and identity of the Yamaha brand. The MINIDESE ceiling fixtures with black finish were used to provide the functional lighting around the bar counter.
At night the layers of the sloping ceiling are “bathed” in dynamic light with the colour changing based on the situation or event hosted. For this specific case, RGB PYROS adjustable professional projectors with LED technology were chosen. The setting is completed by the motorbikes displayed on the suspended ceiling in perforated sheet metal that also welcome customers as they enter, each of which is illuminated by a MONDIAL F1 recessed projector. The concentrated light adds a truly theatrical effect.
