Samsung KX London: A New Kind of Experience SpaceRecently inaugurated in London The Samsung KX experience space is a hub where cultures and unique innovations merge.
Located inside
King's Cross Coal Drops Yard - the iconic building designed by
Heatherwick Studio and commonly known as kissing rooftop due to the particularity of its two sloping roofs - the Samsung showcase covers an area of around 2,000 square meters.
The complex space architecture required a lighting design able to interact in harmony with the vast and curved roof and to respond to the many needs of a versatile container whose use changes depending on the hosted events. The lighting project, developed by
Nulty Lighting with the use of Targetti fixtures, has been able to respond to all these needs by valorizing and shaping the architecture through light.
Custom LED projectors derived from the
ZENO family, positioned in a concentric circular distribution, follow the curved ceiling contours. The Tunable White technology they are equipped with allows to easily obtain, using the same fixture, different white light tones - from 6500K to 2700K - to create different atmospheres and moods according to the scheduled events.
