Targetti is taking part in the XXV Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in Colombia - 14-16 SeptemberTargetti will take part as a guest speaker on 14 September in Cartagena de Indias Colombia, at the XXV Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism organised by the Sociedad Colombiana de Arquitectos. Participation is part of a partnership programme that started in 2015 that aims to integrate light as an essential dimension of architecture to create added value both in functional and aesthetic terms, in an increasingly sophisticated and international context that places Colombia as the second most important market in Latin America after Mexico.

The event taking place from 14 to 16 September with an estimated participation of more than one thousand architects, will showcase the best national and international architectural proposals divided into eight different sections including: urban and landscape design, architectural design, interior design, ephemeral architecture and architectural conservation.

This is an interesting opportunity for Targetti to discuss with other experts in the world of architecture and lighting design with the participation of Giancarlo Castoldi, a veteran in the lighting world who has taken part in many other initiatives relating to the Lighting Academy and activities sponsored by the Targetti Foundation. Castoldi will address the issue of an informed use of light in lighting cities and will show several case histories that demonstrate Targetti’s constant commitment to promoting the culture of light in urban design.
